Standard This is a sample of typical ancient kauri. I do not generally use this grade in my instruments.
Flame Exhibiting flame figure to varying degrees with little or no whitebait figure
Whitebait Exhibiting good whitebait figure with little or no flame figure
Whitebait Premium Exceptional whitebait with rich colour and/or good flame figure also.

"Williams" Whitebait
The most stunningly figured ancient kauri to turn up in the last 15 - 20 years! It came off one side of one small log and no one in the industry has seen quite the like of it before or since. My stock of this exquisite timber is extremely limited. Pricing for this rarest grade is $35,000
